Google Supplemental Results Identifier
According to Google, A supplemental result is just like a regular web result, except that it’s pulled from our supplemental index. We’re able to place fewer restraints on sites that we crawl for this supplemental index than we do on sites that are crawled for our main index. For example, the number of parameters in a URL might exclude a site from being crawled for inclusion in our main index; however, it could still be crawled and added to our supplemental index.
Supplemental results usually only show up in the search index after the normal results. They are a way for Google to extend their search database while also preventing questionable pages from getting massive exposure. Supplemental results are not trusted much and rarely rank high. Supplemental results are not crawled often either by Google. If there are too many supplemental result pages on your website then it’s surely going to negatively affect your natural rankings.
We have developed a unique tool which list down all “supplemental result” pages on your website. This tool will help you identify the pages and get rid of its search engine incompatible elements.
| Please write the website name below (Example, for www.seovalley.com, write seovalley and choose the appropriate domain extension). Currently this tool only supports the following domain extensions: .com, .net, .org. |
